Haiti
Haiti is a Caribbean nation on the island of Hispaniola, known as the first independent nation in the region (1804) and the first black republic. It faces extreme poverty, political instability, and high vulnerability to natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes. The population is over 11 million, with Haitian Creole and French as official languages
Haiti is an overwhelmingly Christian nation (over 95%) with a rapidly growing Pentecostal population, yet it faces extreme poverty, deep-seated spiritual warfare involving Vodou, and severe gang violence, making it a place where Christians must focus on sustainable development, security, and mature spiritual support.
